[The ICONIST, 03/20] ICON SWEDEN BRINGS EXPERTISE TO THE ICONSENSUS CAMPAIGN
- The very first team to jump into the P-Rep election race, ICON Sweden brings not just enthusiasm, but a wealth of experience in information technology and blockchain management. Most of the team members are ICT (Information and Communications Technology) specialists. ICON Sweden envisions an ICON that is as decentralized as possible, with its users — the ICONists — at its core. One of the team’s goals is to transform itself into a decentralized autonomous organization. The team is also focusing on developing applications, especially ones for e-governance. These applications will primarily target enterprises and governments.

- DRAICON BALL aims to help ICON achieve its mission of changing the world through decentralization. To do this, the team has put forward a proposal focusing on four things: dependable infrastructure, the DApp ecosystem, the Oracle ecosystem and the interchain. So, why should you vote for DRAICON BALL?Well, if their philosophy and technical competence don’t convince you, maybe their location will. Being based in Seoul, the team would have a much easier time communicating with the ICON team. They can also serve as a bridge, helping the community get much more involved.

- Thinking about interning at ICON? Well, here’s what you need to know. It’s entry-wage work, like most internships, but this job definitely has its perks. For starters, you won’t be stuck in a corner all day filing papers. You’ll be doing real work, learning real skills. And even more importantly, getting a front-row seat to the blockchain revolution. Minhee and Taeyoon Kim are nearing the end of their three-month stints as interns with ICON’s communication team.
[AMB Crypto, 03/29] Monero, Stellar among blockchains benefiting from Bug Bounty programs; over 20 security flaws fixed in 2 weeks
- According to data collated by HackerOne, at least seven cryptocurrency-related projects rewarded ethical blockchain hackers for finding and fixing over 20 crucial bugs in the last two weeks, from 14 March to 28 March. Some of the major blockchain projects which distributed considerable bounties to ethical hackers were Monero, Stellar, ICON, and Augur. ICON registered only one issue, but the bounty for fixing it was $1,000.
