A P-Rep Pre-Registration Guide has been distributed to help icon.community members submit their P-Rep proposals in the all-in-one portal.
Here at icon.community, we know the success of the P-Rep election comes down to the participation and support from our community. After the beginning of pre-registration on January 17th, our team received multiple inquiries requesting specific guidelines on how to register as a P-Rep. As a representative of ICONists, a P-Rep plays key roles such as block creation and verification, decision-making on network policies, and expansion of the ICON ecosystem. With this in mind, icon.community has put significant efforts into creating registration guidelines for potential candidates.
P-Rep Application Procedure
P-Rep candidates can register at the portal (icon.community) and submit all the required information.
In particular, the delegate proposal should include a business plan detailing how they will add value to the ICON Network. ICONists can then use these proposals to evaluate the best P-Rep candidates to elect.

The P-Rep Pre-Registration Guide is intended to streamline and simplify the registration process. Following these guidelines is not mandatory, however, it will benefit both icon.community and the candidates.
