ICON DAO Joins ICON’s BTP Working Group For Interoperability
In effort to further decentralize an already very decentralized network, ICON Foundation has formed a consortium of experienced development teams who have the qualifications and skills necessary to deliver interoperability among blockchains.
As announced by the Foundation, the BTP Working group consists of Edgeware, Web3 Labs and ICON DAO — or specifically the development team behind ICON DAO and involved in other projects such as Optimus.finance, BalancedDAO and a number of other ICON initiatives.

This is not an out-of-blue announcement nor a sudden decision. Our team has spent a considerable of time already on R&D and will be further expending a large amount of our resources to execute and complete as scheduled.
We understand that this is a very complex project of great importance to the network, and we take pride in being the only P-Rep team involved. ICON Foundation would not have added us to the Group if they were not positive and confident in our qualifications and commitment to further their mission to Hyperconnect The World. The due diligence has been done, the research has been done, the programming is being done and with ICON 2.0 around the corner, our efforts are now public and transparent for the community.
