ICON DAO is an organization with extensive experience in designing and developing dApps, online services, and backend software. In our quest towards granting ICONists the capability to self-organize and proactively run the ICON community as a true DAO, our team has done extensive research and development work to put forward products that will be great additions to the network.

Here’s a look at our work!

CryptoBadge

Win badges, Build fame, Gamify your life!”

CryptoBadge is CAN’s identification/reputation system that allows users to gamify their life through receiving, or ‘unlocking’, achievement badges that identify their diverse skills, expertise and accomplishments.

CryptoBadge comes with the unique experience of turning life into a game where your accomplishments and achievements can be tokenized and issued to you just as it would in your favorite video game.

From official certificates such as your university degree, to personal accomplishments such as your fanclub membership, Cryptobadge allows you the opportunity to store the identity that you want recognized and promoted on various platforms.

Check out our running prototype on Cryptobadge.app where thousands of badges have already been issued.

Code in Force

“ Governance as easy as 1, 2, 3”

Code in Force is a governance design tool for users, organizations, or services to facilitate a transparent decision-making process for collaborations. Code in Force allows communities to design their optimal decision making process as well as rules defining member’s rights and privileges. It allows communities to grant different privileges to its members based on the badges issued by community itself or by other external certificate issuers.

Communities can also design decision making process based on badges that members hold.

CryptoBadge, as proof of member’s expertise and contributions, functions as an underlying infrastructure upon which democratic as well as meritocratic decision processes can be built.

GROUP

A development stack for individuals or organizations to build functional communities easily and quickly. Tools include, but aren’t limited to:

  • Communication (chat, messaging functions)
  • Content management
  • Forum development
  • Membership role assignment

Our GROUP stack takes all the hard-work out of designing, developing and managing your communities by providing you with pre-made modules that you can choose to add or remove in building your community.

To see an example of how utilizing our GROUP community development stack works, you can visit our community-oriented social network, Vingle.net.

Token Manager

A token creation and issuing tool for users to develop and manage transactions of their community’s own native token.

In designing your own DAO community, our Token Manager will allow even the most novice of users to develop and implement their own native tokens so their community members can be compensated for their contributions.

Community Bank

The shared funding pool where DAOs developed on our platform may pool their assets for project funding.

In community development, users will be able to add functions that allows their community members to pool funds together for grants, project funding, operations costs, or other needs decided by the community.

In conclusion…

These are big, big tasks and ICON DAO’s large team of engineers and product development experts are more than qualified to handle it. We are striving to bring useful products to the ecosystem that can be a benefit not only to ICON Foundation but to ICONists everywhere.

ICON DAO is an ICON Network-based decentralized organization committed to providing the tools and services needed for users to easily develop and manage decentralized communities to collaborate and fund projects.
