ICON DAO’s commitment to fostering the next generation of ICON developers.
The Young ICON Developers Internship Program is a new initiative designed to bring highly qualified and ambitious students into ICON DAO’s development team to work on projects to add to ICON’s growing network. The program will select the most exceptional students and graduates from Vietnam National University and those trained directly by its Devera |ICON Blockchain Programming” courses to join our team and begin assisting in developing the many projects we have scheduled for the future:
- Graduates who are selected as interns will gain hands-on experience in blockchain development, industry apprenticeship and future job opportunities with the ICON DAO development team and its global branches.
- ICON DAO will gain motivated students that will bring their fresh minds, new outlooks and young imaginations to help our team continue in building innovative products to grow ICON.
- Graduates will be mentored and work directly with some of the same Vietnamese ICON DAO team members who have contributed to remarkable products like BalancedDAO and Optimus in addition to being involved in the development of ICON’s future chain interconnecting protocol BTP.

We understand the importance of building a large ICON-dedicated workforce and see value in this internship program as an investment into our team’s future and the future of ICON.
ICON DAO, as a collection of developers, business development and product experts, drives to have the largest and most impressive portfolio on ICON network, and as we grow our P-Rep team to a sizable global collective we think our goal is achievable. Our team started out as 21 developers, blockchain advisors and investors, and has grown to over 40 developers ready to take on any task that benefits the network at scale. We are constantly growing as we believe in a very simple model: more qualified developers and hardwork equals more benefits and success for the network.
With Vietnam National University’s Devera Academy constantly providing a stream of students learning to develop on ICON network already through its courses and workshops, we are confident in finding real talents and training the developers of tomorrow.
The Young ICON Developers Internship will be a permanent fixture to our team for as long as ICON DAO keeps working as P-Reps and our voters keep showing us love. With our guidance and the community’s support, we hope to create a workforce accessible not only by our team but by any team looking to outsource qualified ICON blockchain developers.
