ICONFi is an application that empowers users to earn interest on their crypto. With ICONFi, you can earn interest rates of up to 11% APR on several cryptocurrencies including BTC, ETH, USDT, USDC and ICX. ICONFi is unique in that interest compounds SIX times daily — the quickest compounding rate of any platform.
How to Create an ICONFi Account
An ICONFi account empowers you to earn interest on your crypto. To start earning, you first need to open an account.
Application Download
1. Download the ICONFi mobile application from the App Store or Google Play.
2. Swipe through or [Skip] the welcome screens.
3. Press on [Sign Up].
4. Input your email address and select a secure password. Tick the checkboxes and press [Sign Up].
5. Check your email inbox to find a 6-digit code and enter this in the ICONFi application. Click [Submit] to proceed. If you cannot find the code in your inbox, check your junk folder or click on the [Resend E-mail] button.
You should now be registered for an ICONFi account and one step closer to earning interest on your crypto.
Logging In (First Time)
Once registered, you may use your credentials to log in to your ICONFi account.
1. On the Log In page, input your registered email address and corresponding password. Press [Log In] to continue.
2. You will be greeted with a Welcome screen. Press [Get Started] to continue.
3. You will be prompted with the option to set up a One-Time Password (OTP) and to submit Know Your Customer (KYC) documents. We highly recommend you complete these steps upon your first login to enhance the security of your account and to enable fund withdrawals.
Follow the steps below to complete your One-Time Password (OTP) setup and Know Your Customer (KYC) submission. If you choose [Complete Both Later], you can always access these from the [My Page] tab in the ICONFi application.
One-Time Password (OTP)
To enhance the security of your ICONFi account and funds, we require you to enable a One-Time Password, hereby referred to as OTP. The setup process is simple and can be completed in minutes.
1. Press [Complete OTP].
2. You will be prompted with a screen asking if you have Google Authenticator installed. If you do have Google Authenticator (or a similar OTP management application such as Authy) installed, then press [Yes]. If not, press [No, Install Now] to be directed to the Google Authenticator download page for your device.
3. Copy the unique OTP code for export into Google Authenticator. Write down the OTP code in a safe place in case you need to restore Google Authenticator. Tick the checkbox for ‘I have written down the key.’ then press [Next] to continue.
4. Open the Google Authenticator app and select [Enter a setup key].
5. Enter a memorable name for the ‘Account’ field (e.g. ICONFi) and paste the unique OTP code (from the ICONFi app) into the ‘Key’ field. Press [Add] to continue.
6. Copy the OTP from Google Authenticator and paste the six-digit code into the ICONFi app. Press [Submit] to complete the OTP setup process.
You have completed the OTP setup for your account. You may be prompted to input this OTP at later points to ensure the security of your account and funds.
Know Your Customer (KYC)
Know Your Customer, hereby referred to as KYC, is a process where we verify your identity. This is done strictly for security purposes and allows us to help recover your account in cases where you lose access to your password or other credentials. The process only takes a few minutes to complete. Once we receive your information, we will complete our verification within 72 hours and send you a notification by email.
1. Press [Complete KYC].
2. Select your Gender and input your First Name, Last Name, Nationality, Passport or government-issued ID Number and Date of Birth (YYYYMMDD). Please note, your First Name and Last Name must be input exactly according to your identification documents.
3. Upload a photo of your Passport or government-issued ID. (If you are holding a Korea-issued ID card, please hide the last seven digits of your ID number in the image).
4. Upload a photo of yourself holding your selected form of identification, along with an image indicating ‘ICONFi’ and the current date.
5. Press [Submit] and press [Yes] once you have confirmed that your photos are clear.
You have completed the steps for submitting your KYC information. We will send you an email within 72 hours indicating the results of the KYC process.
