Dear ICONFi users,
KYC is an important process to secure the user information and protect user assets. The ICONFi team understands that the KYC process might be difficult to follow — so the team prepared an updated KYC guide.
If you want to start from the very beginning of downloading the ICONFi app, please refer to the following medium article:

The current guide will be including more detail explanations on how to complete KYC.
Open the KYC page
- After sign in on ICONFi, press the [Complete KYC]. Or go to [My page] tab, and click on the [KYC]. You can also enter the KYC page by clicking on [Refer & Get ICX] at [Account] tab.
Identity Verification
2. Select your Gender and input your First Name, Middle name, Last Name, Nationality, Passport or government-issued ID Number and Date of Birth (YYYYMMDD).
- Please note your First Name, Middle name and Last Name must be input exactly according to your identification documents.
- Please pay heed to the order of the numbers of your Date of Birth.
3. Upload a photo of your Passport or government-issued ID.
- If the required information is split on the front and back of your ID, please make one photo containing the images of both front and back side.
But when the required information is all included on one side of your ID, you don’t have to make the two sides into one picture.
- No blurry or low-quality photos. If the images are not clear enough
to recognize, the KYC request will be rejected. - If you are holding a Korea-issued ID card, please hide the last seven
digits of your ID number in the image.
4. Upload a photo of yourself holding your ID card (selected form of
identification) and a handwritten memo written with ‘ICONFi +
submission date’.
- Please refer to the sample image below.
- The ID card you are holding must be identical with the one in your first picture.
- If the memo is not handwritten, your KYC application may be rejected.
- Low quality or blurry photos can be a reason for rejection.
5. Press [Submit] and press [Yes] once you have confirmed that your photos are clear.
You have completed the steps for submitting your KYC information. We will send you an email within 72 hours indicating the results of the KYC process.
