So many people were confused, and asked us whether they can receive ICY airdrops if they use ICONFi. So the ICONFi team will give you the answers to the most frequently asked questions:
- “Can I get the ICY airdrop if I put my ICX on ICONFi without staking?”
The Answer is “YES.”
ICONFi manages your Private Keys but ICONFi definitely supports ICY Airdrops. It is your choice to stake ICX on ICONFi, if you want to enjoy the compound interest effect on ICX staking. But you do not HAVE TO stake ICX — you can simply deposit ICX on ICONFi and you are eligible for ICY airdrop.
2. “What is the screenshot date?”
The Answer is “We don’t know — it would be a moment in the last week of December.”
It would be easier if the ICE Network team who designed this airdrop event would have been a little more clear than “in the last week of December”, but that’s what we got so far. Therefore, you must deposit ICX on ICONFi before the end of December 25th and make your ICX stay there until the end of January 1st. If I were you, I would put ICX before December 24th and put ICX until January 2nd to avoid any time zone difference issue and make it 100% clear.
3. When do I get the ICY tokens?
The Answer is “We don’t know — please wait for further announcements from ICE Network team. What the ICONFi team can say is that “We will definitely support the ICY airdrop”!
