Subscription plans are changing
A name change and a new Pro plan
This week, we have introduced a few changes to the subscription plans on Iconfinder. Here is what changed.
Pro Micro
This is our smallest plan and it stays unchanged. It includes 10 credits per month, roll-over of unused credits, and allows for a single user.
Pro Standard
Previously called Pro Starter, this plan received a simple name change. Additionally, you can share it among up to 10 team members, 5 more than earlier allowed.
Pro Ultimate
We introduced the new Pro Ultimate plan to substitute the Pro Unlimited.
With the Pro Ultimate, you get 500 credits per month, roll-over of unused credits, and the ability to share the plan between 50 team members (25 more than allowed before).
If you are already a Pro Unlimited user, you can keep the subscription for as long as you want, unless you cancel. After cancellation, you cannot get back to Unlimited, but you can choose one of the new subscription plans.
Replacing Pro Unlimited by Pro Ultimate is the most significant change, and it brings along new advantages for you.
Access to illustrations
Besides 5.8 million icons, we now offer you access to a growing collection of 14k+ illustrations.
Being more elaborate than icons and bringing atmosphere and life into a landing page, an onboarding flow, or a printed book, illustrations are a higher value product that requires a higher price than icons.
Due to this value difference, you can download illustrations for five credits each and icons for one credit each. The high credit allowance of the Ultimate plan should give you plenty of space to get all the items you need for beautifying your designs.
Credits top-up
We know that the Unlimited plan was a convenient option for those of you who did not want to worry about download counters.
For keeping you this peace of mind, the new Ultimate plan comes with a high credit allowance and roll-over of unused credits. We will make it easy to top up the credits whenever you need more, a feature that will be available to you in a few weeks from now.
This way, you will always have enough credits for your icon and illustration needs.
Reducing misuse
An Unlimited plan inevitably brought in some users who wanted to take advantage of the possibility to download very high numbers of icons. These sudden increases in downloads were not justified and were causing lower earnings for our designer community.
With the Ultimate plan, you will be contributing to fair earnings for designers and better use of the icons and illustrations.
