Moveworks — The Beginning of an Exciting Partnership

I am excited and proud to announce that ICONIQ Capital has led the $75M financing of Moveworks. Moveworks offers a novel and unique way for companies to manage internal IT requests autonomously by applying natural language understanding and conversational AI capabilities. The impact of their technology is profound, with 35% of their customers’ IT issues now being resolved automatically by the Moveworks platform.

Congratulations to the founders: Bhavin, Vaibhav, Jiang and Varun on this milestone. It is a testament to their committed vision of building a simpler and easier way to get work done. At ICONIQ Capital, we seek out exceptional entrepreneurs who are singularly dedicated to building best-in-class products with the intent of driving systemic change and we are thrilled to partner with the team at Moveworks.

Beyond its initial success, I’m personally excited to partner with Moveworks for two reasons. First, enduring companies are built by long-lasting, exceptional groups of people. The team at Moveworks has a unique rapport; they are singularly aligned, and move with one vision. To enable and expand on their vision, they have developed a robust, remarkable recruiting process, ensuring that they hire only the best and brightest. The team they have built around them is phenomenal. Prior to joining ICONIQ I had the privilege of working at Facebook, Dropbox, and Flipkart, so I have experienced several times now how important the people are in building great companies. And I have not been this excited about a team in a long time.

Second, Moveworks has a unique, deep-rooted focus on product. Traditionally, enterprise software companies consider their customers to be — well, enterprises. Moveworks truly treats each of its customers like a human being — keeping all of the software’s complexity behind the scenes and offering a smooth, seamless interaction. Moveworks has continued to focus on improving the core product experience, making raving advocates of their customers and laying the foundation for future success.

I strongly believe that this is just the beginning, there is a lot more that we can do to deliver breakthrough products in the workplace. Moveworks is building a company that will stand the test of time and we are proud to partner with them.
