Dear users,

Welcome to another ICONOMI weekly update. For a complete overview of the entire month of February, read yesterday’s Monthly Update II.

New ICONOMI events page

Our new dedicated events page is now live! Explore all of our upcoming Meet the Managers events and view the full details on our new page.

Meet the Managers: London

Our next Meet the Managers event will take place in London on March 29. There are still a few seats left, so sign up soon if you would like to join us!

Meet the Managers: Madrid

We are also holding a Meet the Managers event in Madrid on April 5. For more information or to reserve a seat, visit our events page for Madrid.

Blockchain Conferences & Events

Tim M. Zagar, ICONOMI CEO, is currently representing ICONOMI at Money20/20 Asia in Singapore.

Ziga Perovic of our legal department hosted a successful fintech meetup featuring pitches from seven promising Slovenian blockchain start-ups.

Jure Sutar of our DAA department discussed the crypto-economy with students at GEA College.

Media Highlights

“…the government — through the advisory council — will be looking at ways to develop the best possible regulations and legal framework to support blockchain businesses.”

“State entities ranging from Singapore to Switzerland are signaling a positive intent to embrace the new paradigms that blockchain presents through progressive guidance and frameworks, and reports of governments and central banks around the world experimenting with blockchain technology are numerous.”

Fees Payable in ICN Clarification

Some users expressed concerns about the fees payable in ICN introduced in our blog post on Wednesday, pointing out that because token prices fluctuate, some DAA managers may have to pay more or less than others at different times. We are aware of this aspect and will be flexible concerning the fee structure, adjusting fees whenever circumstances require us to do so.

WEEKLY SNEEK PEAK: Android App Features

In our monthly update we asked you to tell us which Android app features you want to see implemented first: buy/sell functionality or widgets (display DAA prices or other statistics on your home screen). Comment your preference below or on Reddit and we’ll implement your choice next!
