With the announcement of the eICN equity token; the imminent launch of Delta Summit Index, one of the world’s first crowdsourced digital asset indexes; and much more, September has been one of the most momentous months in ICONOMI history.
Changes to the ICN token and corporate governance structure
On September 27, we announced the future launch of eICN, a tokenized share in a new joint-stock company that will be based in Liechtenstein. There are three main aspects to our plan:
- Starting on November 1, 2018, eligible ICN token holders can choose either to opt into becoming shareholders of a new joint-stock company that will be tokenized with eICN tokens, or to exchange their ICN tokens for ETH;
- The first phase of the transformation will end on December 31, 2018, with the tokenization process starting in Q1 2019;
- ETH will take the place of the ICN token’s utility on the ICONOMI platform (e.g. fees paid by DAA managers).

Delta Summit Index
As an ultra exhibitor of Delta Summit, we are proud to announce that we will be establishing one of the world’s first crowdsourced digital asset indexes for the occasion: Delta Summit Index (DSI). DSI will be co-created by attendees of the event, including many of the world’s foremost financial and cryptocurrency experts, blockchain enthusiasts, and influencers. Every Delta Summit attendee will have the unique opportunity to participate in setting DSI’s structure by voting for their favorite digital assets.

- On September 6, the ICONOMI team attended DAA manager ArabFolio.Capital’s ArabFolio Camp in Antalya, Turkey. Head of DAAs Jure Sutar, COO Matej Tomazin, Gregor Zupanc of the Solidum Prime DAA, and Dr. Achim Illner of the Global Crypto One DAA gave presentations introducing ICONOMI to the Arab world.
- The ICONOMI team attended Consensus: Singapore from September 19–20.
- On September 27, ICONOMI CTO Miha Vidmar spoke at Verity’s Original Crypto Night event in Ljubljana.
- We will be attending Delta Summit from October 3–5, where we will be launching Delta Summit Index. We look forward to seeing you there and co-creating this unique index together.
