The ICONOMI Digest

Closing out the month of October, we have been busy preparing the details for the ICN to eICN conversion process, attending and sponsoring industry conferences and financial events, and more.

Q3 Development Overview

On October 12, we published our development overview for Q3, where we highlighted the first direct purchase of BLX with euro using the fiat gateway (in beta) and the release of the public API. Learn more about our development progress here.

ICONOMI in the Media

ICONOMI COO Matej Tomazin was interviewed by Crypto Potato about eICN, security tokens in general, and other topics.

“New possibilities will change the financial industry because you will be creating a portfolio from very different assets. They could be from cash flow streams, real estate options, and so on. You will not just construct a standard portfolio of funds, stocks, and bonds.”

Delta Summit Index Prize Drawing

On October 19, we announced the conclusion of the Delta Summit Index prize drawing. We want to thank each and every person who participated in the creation of DSI or in the prize drawing. The winner’s DSI holdings were doubled for a total of more than 1,000 DSI. We look forward to seeing the performance of DSI, one of the world’s first crowdsourced indexes, in the coming quarters.

Events

Past Events

This week, Jure Sutar, ICONOMI Head of DAAs, gave a speech on the future of asset management at the Kuwait Financial Technology Conference. He shared his views on the development of blockchain technology in the region with us:

“The Kuwait FinTech event brought together great minds and speakers from various different countries, as well as attendees from some of the biggest companies based in the Middle East region. Comparing the event to the ECOH event we attended in May, we can say that there is definitely a growing interest in blockchain technology and digital assets in the region when it comes to traditional financial institutions.”
