Website

ICObench score 5.0 was the original score assigned by ICO analyzer bot, expert scoring reduced it to 4.3; it’s misleading to keep the original score on the page.

Smart Contract audit icon leads to ICO evaluation and listing page, however this page doesn’t officially offer Smart Contract audits nor does it list Bethereum in their ICO list.

“As seen on” contains:

  • 4 paid advertisement articles: Cointelegraph; CCN; Coinist; Cryptonetix
  • 1 article published by the team: Hackernoon
  • 1 article available only in the Czech language: Arbolet
  • The rest (6) are event presentations and articles which could constitute an organic interest in the project.

Community (as of April 10, 2018)

  • ~52,400 members on Telegram (~80% joined between March 2, 2018 and March 15, 2018)
  • ~20,400 followers on Twitter
  • ~17,600 followers on Facebook

These numbers might be highly affected by the Airdrop connected to their Bounty program with 46,371 members (https://bounty.bethereum.com).

Technical solution

There’s an MVP in form of an iOS application to show the social features of Bethereum platform.

There’s no MVP for Android or web browser.

The MVP uses virtual infrastructure, it’s not connected to blockchain nor using Smart Contracts, the user experience might be different in the final product (every operation will have to wait until it’s processed in a block by the Ethereum network).

As every dApp running on Ethereum blockchain, it will compete for transaction processing — bets might be costly or delayed (one viral dApp like CryptoKitties might block the network for days).

By default every transaction, bet and profit would be visible and accessible to everyone (including legal and tax authorities), whether its a feature or not.

GitHub activity

ICO Smart Contract is available in Bethereum GitHub since April 10, 2018.

No public repository for the project or the MVP.

No publicly visible activity since February 4, 2018 (Telegram bots) until ICO Smart Contract update on April 10, 2018.

Missing information

How will the users get Ether in the Bethereum wallet for settling transaction fees (gas) on the Ethereum network?

How will the users define how much gas should be used for their transaction? Higher amount of gas means that the transaction will be processed by the Ethereum network with a higher priority; it’s important when there’s a high load on the Ethereum network.

How will the users be able to convert BTHR token + remaining Ether back to fiat?

What Oracle will be used, how will be its independence and credibility guaranteed?

How will the project be secured legally? Betting might be regulated, grey area or even illegal in some countries, users might be from all around the world, blockchain will make participation in the bets visible to everyone and therefore the process should be fully legally compliant.

What partnership are planned in the B2B area and what steps were already taken?

How will the ICO earnings be protected from theft or abuse?

How much from the ICO earnings will be converted to fiat and how much kept in cryptocurrencies? If the project decides to speculate on a cryptocurrency growth and the market collapses instead, the project might get into financial problems.
