ICOVO is holding “Ethereum Hack Tokyo” of community meet-up for engineers every month in Tokyo to support blockchain related startups.
What is Ethereum Hack Tokyo?
Ethereum Hack Tokyo is the technological point of view meet-up for innovative blockchain related startups. ICOVO will set up different themes related blockchains crux of Ethereum once a month and invite developers, lawyers, executives, critics, media, etc. who are active in the front lines of the blockchain industry around the world.

In previously held meetups, we organized Hackathons, workshops, speech and panel discussions with enthusiastic blockchain start-up engineers.
We have organized meet-ups for 7 times which were well attended by a total of 450 participants.

Title: A Cypherpunk Dream and Privacy on Blockchain

It is safe to say that Bitcoin was born out of The Cypherpunks Movement as they were hyper-concerned about privacy. When we think about the genesis of Bitcoin, it is sober to think that many of us are still advocating the use of a public and easily traceable ledger.
In this meet-up, we will talk about the genesis of bitcoin, why privacy matters on blockchain and some of the cryptographic methods to protect our privacy on blockchain.
The meet-up will be followed by a casual style networking with beer and pizza after lecture. Please do not hesitate to join us.
