The IBM Cloud Pak for Data Ecosystem of technology partners is growing. As an Openshift based Data and AI platform, we have an array of technology solutions that enhance what our platform does to help companies make their data ready for Advanced Analytics and AI workloads.

We have streamlined our delivery process to ultimately make it easier for our partner solutions to onboard with us and jointly deliver faster. Learn more about this here if you’re looking to partner with us.

From scalable persistent storage offerings to AI infused solutions used for decision making, our partners play an integral role on our journey to empowering Data Stewards, Data Engineers, Data Scientists, Business Analysts and Integration Admins whom use IBM Cloud Pak for Data; to iterate and build the solutions their businesses need the most.

We have a great group of partnerships in flight for delivery on our platform and there are a few we would like to take a deep dive on that are enabling us to extend our reach into various industry verticals.

This includes our AI solution driven partnership with Findability Sciences for the FP Predict+™ Offering.

FP-Predict +™, is an automated, self learning and Multi Modeling AI solution that handles Discrete Target variable, Continuous Target variable, Time series data and provides predictions and forecasts with unmatched accuracy. It is powered by Findability Platform®. It has a fully automated multi-step modeling and prediction process without any human intervention and with no coding required. The solution generates multiple models from the training data set and uses the best model for each record in the prediction data set.

Their AI platform can be used in combination with Cloud Pak for Data services to perform a number of workflows to help businesses make decisions more swiftly. In particular, one we’d like to highlight is a Manufacturing sector use case which involves predicting inventory demand.

Another recent partnership we’ve been working on is with Anaconda on their Repository for IBM.

Anaconda Repository for IBM gives our customers an edge by allowing their enterprise to control the open source packages that Data Scientists can use in Jupyter notebooks and JupyterLab in Watson Studio analytics projects. With the service, our customers can access more than 7,500 Anaconda-built conda packages (Python and R) and along with additional open-source packages (Conda-Forge, CRAN, PyPI) from a central enterprise repository and even add their own proprietary packages.

With IBM InfoSphere Virtual Data Pipeline by our Partner Actifio, users can instantly provision virtual database copies that they can use to work with near real-time data for Data analytics, Application testing, AI model training and testing, plus use in conjunction with the Data virtualization service in Cloud Pak for Data. Each virtual database copy can be refreshed to any point in time in a matter of minutes and can be masked to protect sensitive data.

The Hazelcast In-Memory Computing Platform certified for Openshift, is comprised of Hazelcast IMDG (the most widely deployed in-memory data grid) and Hazelcast Jet (the industry’s most advanced in-memory stream processing engine). It delivers a scalable high-throughput, ultra-low latency solution, purpose built to process the most mission critical next generation Data and/or AI/ML workloads.

The WAND Foundation Taxonomies contain glossary terminology for every industry vertical segment and business functional area. This can enable a user to quickly jump-start the creation of a business glossary. Users can access the WAND Taxonomies via the web based WAND Taxonomy Library Portal. Browse the entire library to identify terminology that is relevant for their business. Terms can be downloaded in an XML or CSV format that will import into IBM Cloud Pak for Data Business Glossary.

TrilioVault for Openshift is a cloud-native, application-centric data protection platform that was designed from the ground-up to support the scale, performance and mobility requirements of Kubernetes container environments across any public or hybrid cloud environment. TrilioVault’ solution offers backup and recovery of the entire application, including data, metadata and any other Kubernetes objects associated with the application so it is protected and able to be restored from any point in time. Trilio’s open and forever-incremental backup schema can support any storage target, making it ideal for cloud-native environments where applications are built on Kubernetes and Openshift.

Enterprises are under intense pressure to deploy new applications quickly in a complex, multi-cloud world. Portworx provides essential cloud native storage to address these needs of applications on our platform.

All of our Cloud Pak for Data Partner offerings listed above will soon be featured and available in the IBM Cloud Pak for Data Partner Catalog
