Blockchains and cryptocurrencies are the way to that world, a trustless environment with no need for a person involved between any transactions taking place. We see a world where cryptocurrencies can be the preferred medium for any business or activity, whether you are buying coffee in your favorite cafe, paying for your hotel room online, or even recording scores for a friendly game of ping pong! Further, it should not matter which specific cryptocurrency anyone is using, they should be able to pay for their goods and services regardless of this. Cryptocurrencies bring us an immutable service that can be used to record information, send currencies across the world, and keep assets safe and secure with full anonymity. It is up to personal preference to decide which cryptocurrencies you will use.
Introducing ICTE: ICTE was created by a group of cryptocurrency experts with this vision of our ideal world; where digital assets are democratized and contribute to a safer, more inclusive market. But of course, every big dream requires many steps to take along the way. Thus, ICTE was born. To revolutionize the way that society views cryptocurrency as a daily tool, we needed to first make cryptocurrency EASY to use daily. There are 1000s of different cryptocurrencies and each part of the world has its unique demands that determine the value of each cryptocurrency! So, we are beginning our first steps in ICTE’s exchange services.
Interplanetary Crypto Token Exchange. ICTE. A decentralized cryptocurrency exchange network that distributes a federation of regional exchanges across the globe. The freedom to use your preferred cryptos is rooted in the ability to exchange your cryptos for another quickly and easily. We are thus creating a global mesh of exchanges that are all interconnected. They work together to create a pool of liquid tokens that are traded across the exchanges and result in users receiving a fair price for their exchanges. With ICTE allowing trades to match across different exchanges, the use case of a merchant-client interaction becomes very clear! The client is able to buy a product from the merchant, the client sends their preferred currency and the merchant receives the currency they prefer. What happened between this interaction is where ICTE is able to step in, automatically exchanging for the correct value of the tokens on the client’s side so that the merchant is able to receive the correct value of their product! Merchants are able to price their products with their benchmark, and ICTE will use real-time market data to price the product in the liquid tokens that it supports.
This use case we are describing is already so close to the ideal world we see happening in the near future, so ICTE is excited to work with many blockchains and issuers to increase its global reach and allow for a truly decentralized, trustless, and free world.
