Yet another Formula for Success

This is not about personal success; it’s about whether the human race (us) is smart enough to protect the viability of our species by not being giant assholes.

An open question.

The paradigm shift being called forth by the needs of the day is a shift from Vision + Force = Success, to Vision + Relevant Systems (those that take into account the nature of reality, including human nature) = Success.

The real shift is a shift in the definition of success.

As soon as you figure out that success means making everything work — nurturing and supporting balance and sustainability in a nested hierarchy of interdependent systems, then immediately even the word “make” shifts its meaning from “force” to “create.”

And I don’t mean that anyone, or any group of ones, can take responsibility for everything. Yet, as we perceive the interconnectedness of everything on this planet, it becomes increasingly clear that understanding “what is” is the key to realizing “what if,” personally and collectively.

Vision + Relevant Systems (those that take into account the nature of reality, including human nature) = Success.
