Last month, we announced 4 thematic areas of focus that will guide our programmatic work. These themes represent huge opportunities for digital identity to impact some of today’s most pressing global challenges.

While we will continue to advance ID2020 Alliance-led programs in all four thematic areas, we are launching a call for cities related pilot proposals through our online application portal. At the frontline of providing many crucial social services, cities occupy an impactful space to provide digital identity that can both address major urban challenges while improving the daily lives of residents. Over the next 6 months, we will prioritize pilot proposals that focus on digital identity applications that address challenges related to urbanization, such as homelessness and equitable service delivery.

If you have an idea for a pilot project related to cities, we encourage you to submit a proposal. And if you are involved in relevant ongoing work, we encourage you to get in touch!
