Bitfex Exchange is LIVE!
The moment we all have been waiting for is here! We are very happy to announce that Bitfex Crypto Derivatives Exchange is now live.
Overview
The exchange is currently available for testing in a restricted environment (restricted by ID/password), with access open only for our closed group of traders and investors. Access to the public will be opened on December 17th, 2019. In the meantime, if you are a trader and wish to try out our exchange, you can request access by emailing us at support@bitfex.com.
Right now, Perpetual Contracts, Quarterly Futures and industry-first Exchange Quoted Spreads for Bitcoin are available for trading on the web trading platform. A robust wallet solution has been implemented, with Casa’s 3 out of 5 multi-signature deep cold storage being utilised for ensuring maximum fund security. Reviews from the users have been overwhelmingly positive. The intuitive style of the interface and the high degree of user-defined personalisation possible with the layout are among points of note. The smooth performance of the platform coupled with our flagship trading product: low-risk Exchange Quoted Spreads have made users very excited about trading on Bitfex exchange.
Public Access
The exchange will open for public trading on December 17th, as mentioned earlier. We are happy to inform that the Insurance Fund will be available from Day 1, with a decent amount being set aside to initialise it. With the Insurance Fund available from the start, traders won’t have to worry about losing out on their winning trades.
Moving forward, we will be organising various trading competitions with amazing rewards in BTC and BFX. Details of these competitions will be announced very soon. We have also set up a very lucrative referral system, so be ready to recommend Bitfex to your friends and family to earn more BTC and BFX!
Trading Fees
As you must be aware, BFX, Bitfex Exchange’s native utility token, is already trading in the market. The value BFX brings to our exchange ecosystem is immense, with benefits like Zero Trading fees, additional discounts on trading fees and various other exclusive benefits to BFX holders. Moreover, we’ll be accepting BFX for trading fees at the minimum price of 3 cents, which is a huge premium to its current market price. You can currently buy BFX on Probit exchange to avail all these amazing benefits on Bitfex Exchange.
Our fee structure is quite simple: No Maker fees, Low Taker fees. For market makers, additional rebates will be provided in both BTC and BFX. If you are a proven market maker feel free to reach out to us via mail and discuss the possibilities!
Mission 2020
The coming year will be an amazing one for Bitfex. We have great plans for the first year of the new decade!
Derivative contracts for major cryptocurrencies like ETH will become available on the exchange. We’ll also add more trading products to our lineup, including options along with USDT based margins for derivatives trading.
Our cutting-edge Desktop Trading System with ‘ladder-based point-and-click’ trading will launch in 2020. Point-and-click ladder trading interface for web platform will also become available.
We also plan to focus on Crypto Trading Education and enabling an environment where any retail user can learn to become a professional trader with Bitfex. Be ready to see some big developments in this area very soon!
