Lesson I learned from today about Startup .
This workshop was conducted by PSUIC at Tuberthailand.We spent one afternoon there.We have guest speaker Mr.Woranon Thitinunthakorn -co-founder of Tuberthailand .
First thing first, most people have asked the same question about what is startup?
Yes,basically startup is one kind of business that is Repeatable and Scalable that mostly this is the newest kind of business model that never occur before in the market.for instance Uber,Wongnai,and Tripadvisor,etc.
Secondly,where is the idea generated from?
Woo hoo, I am an entrepreneur yet I have many idea come to my mind and I can kick start my start up.No,it is not very easy as you think or expect it to be.exactly,most start up are from Problem that happen in real-life and then lead you to Business model (What is your plan about your start up,and how can you find revenue?) and last but not least is Technology (Yes,technology. The modern start up recently and the sooner future will be Technology base.).Also you should follow this cycle: Activate-Learn&Connect-Do it-Pivot&Fight to.
The advantages of start up.
Yes, start up doesn’t like SME that we can expect and measure the revenue.Exactly,you will confront the hardest experience when you first kick start your start up to find the revenue and people to use or know your service because you are new in the market.At the same time,there are also the advantages.There are such as Opportunity, the chance for those who not from the rich family, raise up your awareness, and Richness will come to you if you success.
What you should know before you kick start your start up.
Find the problem that is precise in the society, and commonly people ignore it.
Think simply but smart.For example: wongnai, they recommend the place to eat and visit.They apply the win-win method in their business model.
Start from what the society have but make it more better.For example: Uber, They use taxis that already have in the local but they add up the technology that can eventually change the experience of people using Taxi.
Sharing idea to get feed back is very important.
Networking is one thing that you shouldn’t ignore.
Apply from the small to big. Since it is very risky,so you should apply it from the small to big.For example: I would using telephone to sell my product before I actually go to make the website or app for my start up.
