Know what your doing before you act ! Seriously.

No matter how much you read and learn nothing beats common sense. Its just has this unique feel, when people avoid doing silly mistake thanks to a little common sense.

Let me tell you a story.

Yesterday in my office, my colleague came in started joking about thing. All of a sudden he took a marker i keep for near by for marking boxes and file and start to write something on the white board.

I asked him to stop as i felt it was silly, he ended up writing my name is strange font just to prove his artistic ability. Fine for now.

I asked him to clean in before he leave, guess what it was a Permanent marker !!

He started panicking and start apologizing, to which i said never mind, “ just clean it and we are ok”

You see there is a simple way to clean permanent marker, just use a board marker on top for it and then its removable. So he got another marker and start using it like paint brush on top of the permanent. 5 Minutes in my white board was a mess.

He was feeling happy and start fooling around a bit more, with his foolish sketch. I am working a smirking at him to just stop. guess what.

That marker which he was using to clean the board with was another permanent marker ….:-)

I guess i can thank him to get my mood up but i sure did laugh like crazy. You should have been the look on his face, when he was the note permanent marker on the markers.

Back to my point of the post.
