Appropriating Native Americans in movies

I plan on reflecting on Cultural appropriation in films. This is a topic that isn’t talked about much but movies are constantly changing. The topic will be about the portrayal of Native Americans in movies starting with early westerns to the upcoming current movies such as WindRiver and Hostiles. This topic should be addressed with newer upcoming Native directors, short film makers and actors producing more movies that accurately portray Native Americans.
