Durango, CO old mining town or good camping spot or a just a place to go for the day. Well the first time I came to Durango was my senior year in high school on a visit to Fort Lewis College. The group walked around Main St the night before the tour on campus. The town was different at night then, looking at it with eyes of a innocent child. Now looking at the town now its a different place, remembering what was there four years ago and what wasn’t. Looking at the town in the eyes of a young adult wow things have changed. Its more of the food downtown the shops and actually taking the time to stop and smell the flowers. The town is like an old timey looking town like stepping foot into the early 1960s but with a modern taste. The builds are old but still beautiful and how they were truly meant to be. The night life now is also different running around with college students barhopping it gives the town the sense that it truly is a college town.
