The painting gave me the feeling of being relaxed as if surrounded by trees while looking into the sunset with mountains in front of the sunset. The blue sky and mountains at a nearby park I use to play at as a child are what came to my mind when looking at this picture. Having a red blanket underneath a tree looking off into the sunset of a local hill as the sunset. Buildings around but still beautiful.

The blue color in the top right corner is showing the blue sky behind the tree leaves and looking up. The black zigzag lines represent mountains which gives the sunset more beauty and being able to see the sunset along the ridges of the mountains but leading to a large building. The red as I said before could be the blanket on which you lay on. The type of blanket being a fuzzy puffy blanket feeling like a soft cotton ball.

The painting reminding me of possibly being at the park as a child bringing the nostalgia of the sunsets and trees and the blanket with local mountains being caressed by the sunlight fading away. This brought back innocence and having no care in the world for me with the use of the primary colors the first few colors that a child first learns and combining them brought back the childhood memories of enjoying the little things in life and being outside.
