Ideas By Nature is excited to announce that we will be sponsoring the ETHDenver hackathon in 2019! We’re driven to produce creative solutions for blockchain technology related challenges. Over the past half-decade, we’ve had the pleasure to work with some of the most exciting projects in blockchain tech, both locally and internationally. Learn more about our team, clients, and how we build blockchain technology businesses.

The ETHDenver hackathon is one of the premier events to experience tech innovation happening first-hand. Last year, we were in awe of the passion and dedication that we saw from every team that competed. It became clear that many of the participants would continue to experiment, innovate, and shape the future of blockchain technology. This year looks to be no different.

We’re excited to assist the competing teams in crafting effective user experiences for their projects. To help every team create the best user experience possible, we have a variety of team members from Ideas By Nature attending — from designers and UX specialists to experienced blockchain engineers. Don’t hesitate to seek us out if you have any questions. We’ll be wearing our colorful brand bolt, you can’t miss us!

If you’d like to reach out to us to chat before, during, or after the hackathon, you can contact us at conferences@ideasbynature.com.

In prep for this year’s ETHDenver Hackathon and wowing our judges, here are some user experience resources that we use frequently:

The Ten Usability Heuristics

  • Jakob Nielsen’s 10 general principles for interaction design. From an organization widely considered to be the fathers of modern user experience philosophy.

UX Collective

  • A collection of curated stories on usability, user experience, and product design. A great resource for anyone interested in reading and learning more about user experience and product design.

Rimble Design System

  • A library of adaptable UI components designed specifically for use in decentralized applications. This library can help you get your user interface spun up quickly and easily.

How Bitcoin Onboards New Users

  • A comedic example of the difficulties of buying cryptocurrency for new users.

The final wave of applications for ETHDenver closes January 31st so apply today if you haven’t already. We’re looking forward to seeing you there!
