‘Keeping data in the Cloud’

90% of world’s trade is carried by sea, and shipping is responsible for 2.5% of global Greenhouse gas emissions, emitting 1.000 million tonnes of CO2 annually. Shipping CO2 emissions are predicted to increase between 50 and 250 percent by 2050. To regulate and monitor these emissions, new rules have been implemented.

SyndeSeas from Cyprus has created an integrated tool aiming to facilitate and enhance the Shipping Sector’s contribution towards tackling climate change. SyndeSeas Integrated Solution, is an integrated software for shipping fuel consumption and subsequent greenhouse gas emissions monitoring, reporting and verification. It serves all regulatory requirements and all involved parties needs at the same time, making compliance easy for all.
