The other day I was struggling to get a kick start on a blog, but surprisingly, just couldn’t get the hang of it.

Just when , Sharva Jethwa walked in with his piece of mind!

“Why don’t you make a mood board?”

Oblivious to what he was talking about I asked, “ And now what’s that?”

He replied, “Jot down your thoughts, the mood of your article and everything else you need to know about it”

It made sense to me to create a continuum for my composition to get a clear idea about my thoughts and what the reader would like.

Sharva Jethwa continued to explain, “Mood boards are not a prerogative of designers as they say, you can use it anywhere and everywhere. It’s more like a tool that gets you going in the right direction with your project! You must make one for your blog and you’ll know the difference”

The thought of creating a “Mood Board” made it more interesting and what happened next was even better.

I read about it and knew that the mood boarding tool lets you group your thoughts from the most quintessential ones to the most uncommon — all in one place. It definitely helps you remember all your points and throws in some extra flair of preparation in what you’re presenting!

I tried to jot down all the points I felt requisite for my article and since I was at it, I did it categorically!

I asked my mood some tricky questions —

Why are you writing this blog?

What is the mood of my article?

Who is going to read this article?

What should the core content be like?

What is the pattern of the article?

Answering these questions turned out like gold for my article. It’s pretty much all I needed to know for that perfect article.

I’m jotting down some possible answers of these questions for you guys to make your first mood boarding little simpler.
