Nokia turns theatrical!

Looks like theatrics are the new sensation, setting footholds in creative advertising for Nokia, this September. Post the Microsoft /Nokia deal, Nokia has left no stone unturned to take to the center stage to poke some really funny jibes at their competitors and no one’s complaining. It’s creative, hilarious and frankly quite entertaining too!

With Google calling the next version of their Android OS Kitkat, the creative heads at Nokia Germany decided to tweet this picture depicting that Samsung Galaxy S4 users, should indeed have a break from their device.

In yet another hilarious stance, Nokia literally took it to the streets, where they strategically placed a truck carrying their ad just next to the billboard ad for Samsung Galaxy S4 zoom, back in U.K. While Samsung’s tagline said “The only smartphone with 10X optical zoom”, Nokia’s ad read of pure wit: “Still it didn’t see this coming”, going on further to say that, “ The Nokia Lumia 1020, exceptional zoom without the exceptional bulk #zoomreinvented”, hinting at the bulky hardware/software of Samsung Galaxy S4.

Tweet Sarcasm!

The theatrics turned to an all new level of wit and humor, when they tweeted this picture with Apple’s launch of multiple color options in iPhone 5C, that share a keen resemblance with Nokia’s Lumia range of phone.

But this wasn’t quite the end of story. Pop came yet another sarcastic tweet on the 8 megapixel camera in IPhone 5S against the 41 megapixel in Nokia Lumia 1020.

Brilliant advertising theatrics like these are an indication to the new sense of pride and confidence in the Nokia team and we could only conspire that this might have something to do with a certain Microsoft.

Whatever is the reason, but we are truly loving it!
