IDEP 2022 Roadmap
Greetings everyone! 🪐
Later half of 2021 and the beginning of 2022 were very exciting for us! We are very proud of the development we have achieved so far. Without further ado we would like to introduce whats next for IDEP Network.
IDEP Network will be adopting a bi-network architecture to speed up the development process. Two Networks will co-exist during the building process.
Q2
📍- Main-net Antora Launch
On July 25th we will be Launching Main-net Antora. This network will the core functionalities of IDEP Network, such as IBC, and NFT module Uptake.
📍- Canary Network makalu Launch
Canary Network makalu a dev-network with private by default smart contracts via SGX is already operational and is on an invite-only basis.
Q3
📍- New Smart-Contract engine for makalu
Canary Network makalu will go through an upgrade and will be tagged with a new version. A new smart-contract engine based on what Secret Labs has been developing will be introduced to makalu for testing.
📍- New website and docs for IDEP.network
We will be giving IDEP website, docs, and socials a fresh coat of paint with new more relevant information on the website and tutorials in the docs.
📍- Tentative date on Cosmos community Airdrop
Based on how the markets behave we will be conducting a air-drop for the #cosmos community based on a certain criteria(not revealed yet). If the market conditions are not good we will postpone to Q4.
Q4
📍- makalu becomes the main network
If testing and audits are successful and governance passes the vote we will tag makalu and the main network and relaunch it as Antora V2. Antora V2 will have SpaceTime smartcontracts deployed.
📍- Antora & Antora V2 reconciliation
In Q4 we will have a governance vote to create a bridge between Antora and Antora V2. The Bridge will act to transfer current tokens to the new network with a brand new smart contract engine and private by default privacy.
On the launch of Antora Main-Net we will roll out a series grant programs for new validators to quickly join and validate the network. Since the token will not be trading on any exchanges until IDO the IDEP team will try to make the onboarding as smooth as possible. We will keep everyone up to date on all the relevant updates on the roadmap so be sure to follow through our socials.
