Coinbase Connects Hundreds of Thousands of Users to IDEX
The world’s largest hybrid decentralized exchange is now officially integrated with Coinbase Wallet’s WalletLink.
This new integration will allow Coinbase Wallet users to easily tap into our liquidity pool and access over 450 trading pairs*. For those who prefer working on the big screen, desktop access is just as seamless. Most importantly, accessing IDEX through WalletLink keeps trade liquidity and security at the forefront from custody to trade.
Massive Liquidity for DeFi
During the 2017 bull run, Coinbase was one of the first UX focused fiat gateways to bring in an enormous amount of volume that helped fuel crypto’s explosive growth and brought in over $1B in revenue for Coinbase. Since opening their exchange in 2012, they outgrew the 2nd largest brokerage firm in the US, Charles Schwab, surpassing 11 million users versus Schwab’s own 10.7 million accounts in 2018. In the past year, Coinbase reportedly brought in over 8 million new users, reaching over a total of 30 million users across the globe.

- Visit IDEX, log in, and navigate to the Unlock or Change Wallet page
- Select “Coinbase WalletLink”
- Scan the QR code with the Coinbase Wallet QR scanner and approve the request
