Hey IDEX fam! Since our last update, we’ve made some changes that we’re excited to share with you.
- v4 is out, IDEX is in. Who needs version numbers with a name as clean as IDEX. We like clean.
- We’re building on the latest tech developments to bring something never seen before, the first Layer3 derivatives exchange, one that doesn’t force users to choose between performance or security.
Let’s dive in.
IDEX is different from any other perpetual futures DEXs. Most notably, our trading engine offers high performance while simultaneously deriving its security from Ethereum’s base layer. This allows us to synthesize CEX performance with DEX custody and security.
IDEX will provide you with:
- Unrivaled Performance: The high-performance trading engine offers extremely low latency and instant, guaranteed execution. Alongside our instant trading feature, the experience is indistinguishable from (and we think better than) CEX trading, let alone using a DEX.
- Self-custody and Transparency: IDEX’s onchain roots give you full control over your funds at all times. No hidden counterparty risk. Your keys, your coins.
- API Integrations: IDEX conforms to emerging standards so it’s dead simple to implement existing strategies. Delegated keys allow connections to trading terminals without exposing custody keys.
- Ultra-low Fees: Maker rebates, deep order book liquidity, and a fee model that rewards $IDEX stakers. It won’t feel like you’re trading on-chain.
Along with the enhanced trading experience on IDEX, stakers of $IDEX will be rewarded with 50% of all fees generated by the platform, to be paid out in USDC.
We’ve been hard at work for the last year bringing our vision to life, and our testnet launch is just around the corner. Throughout the development journey, we’ve focused on establishing a solid infrastructure, designing an intuitive user experience for both seasoned users and newcomers, and integrating unique features that distinguish our project from other protocols. Testnet release is a crucial milestone that enables us to evaluate and refine our platform’s performance, security, and scalability, ensuring we meet the high expectations of the trading community.
We’re looking to re-ignite defi summer with our launch, and the IDEX party is already planned through to the end of the year.
