Kajol-Karan Johar had shared a friendship that Bollywood looked up to. From the time ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai’ released to ‘My Name is Khan’, the duo have given us superhits which made us wanting more from the duo. But, they have not been doing well since last year when Karan Johar’s ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ and Kajol’s husband Ajay Devgan’s ‘Shivaay’ released on the same date and were involved in a controversy where Devgan accused Johar of paying bribe to KRK to promote Johar’s film and bad-mouth ‘Shivaay’. Since then, Kajol-Karan Johar have not talked to each other and once close friends have become estranged to the limit that they did not even wish each other ‘Happy Birthday.’

Karan Johar let it all out in his autobiography, “An Unsuitable Boy” where he discussed about his friendship and estrangement with Kajol and wrote, “I don’t have a relationship with Kajol anymore. We’ve had a fallout. Something happened that disturbed me deeply which I will not talk about because it’s something that I like to protect and feel it would not be fair to her or to me. After two and half decades, Kajol and I don’t talk at all. We just acknowledge each other, say ‘hello’ and walk past.”

Recently, on the occasion of Rakshabandhan, Karan Johar shared a picture of his twins and mother on social media and wrote, “today….#roohiandyash #happyrakshabandhan #lovesofmylife.”

Kajol, reportedly, liked the picture and Karan Johar followed her back on Instagram after the incident. This has given the fans of the duo a ray of hope that things will be better between them and they will get back together.
