Mersal Movie Review: Live Updates and Twitter Review
Vijay’s Mersal has gone through a lot first witnessing the court issue over the title and then the problem pertaining to Tamil Nadu double taxation, but it seems like the bad days are over and the movie is all set to release today worldwide.
Vijay’s latest film Mersal features him in triple roles. AR Rahaman’s music seems to be one of the highlights of the movie. Another highlight of the teaser and the movie is Vijay himself who seems to be on his top form in the film. The dialogue delivery in the teaser seems to be whistle-worthy and will surely make the audience go mad at the theatres when it releases. One of the dialogue from the 1 min 16 second teaser is “The spark of fire you set aflame, will ask you to blaze in all its glory. The deeds of karma you sowed, will wait to slice and stamp you with fury.”
There are many other points which make the teaser an absolute delight to watch like the grand action sequences, crisp editing and the visuals which seem to be larger than life. If the movie is anything that the teaser promises it to be, then the movie will surely break many records at the box office.
Mersal stars Samantha, Kajal Aggarwal and Nithya Menon as the three female leads for Vijay’s triple role. Mersal is directed by Atlee who has co-written the film with K. V. Vijayendra Prasad and S. Ramana Girivasan. The editing department is helmed by Ruben while the Cinematography is done by G.K. Vishnu.
A good news for Vijay fans is that the screen count for this Vijay release is going to be bigger than ever. Since no big Telugu, Malayalam or Kannada movie is releasing on the Diwali weekend, Mersal already has an upperhand. And now, according to reports, Mersal has already crossed the 3200 mark of screen counts and is speculated to cross 3500 screens easily.
Hema Rukmani, CEO of Sri Thenandal Entertainment tweeted, “MersalScreenCount 3292. Will add more #MersalDiwali #7DaysToGo @Atlee_dir @MuraliRamasamy4 @ThenandalFilms. [sic]”
The movie has done a business of Rs 156 crores in pre-release and is expected to make it big at the box office today. Well, we hope that Vijay fever continues and the movie breaks all the records and makes new ones!
