Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy: After AR Rahman, other technicians leave the project, here is why

Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy which has been in the making since the last few months has hit another road block, and it seems like nothing is working out well for the movie.

Chiru151 as the movie is lovingly called, Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy is a biopic based on the titular character who was a freedom fighter. The film is being produced by his son, Ram Charan under the banner of Konidela Production Company. Notably, the film makers have roped in Amitabh Bachchan, Vijay Sethupathi and Nayanthara for important roles in the film.

But while the casting and crew decisions for the film seemed to be concrete, the movie had supposedly been facing difficulties in the script department. The movie is supposed to be a biggie and is a much awaited film both because of the premise and for being Chiranjeevi’s 151st film. First there was problems pertaining to the script of the movie, and now it seems like one by one the technicians of the movie are leaving it because of the delay.

According to reports, AR Rahman has already left the movie because he is busy with other work. While he seems to be concentrating more on 2.0 for now, the delay in Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy might have sparked this decision. After completing 2.0, the music maestro will move on to Shankar’s next Indian 2 (Bharateeyudu 2).

According to reports, Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy was supposed to start shooting in April, but due to incomplete script it had to be pushed. Then, a few months earlier, the logo and crew details of the film started coming in but no confirmation from the team about the shooting schedule.

If reports are to be believed then the script of the film has still not completed, and the delay is causing the film to not start shooting. The script is being written by Surendar Reddy, Paruchuri Brothers and Sai Madhav Burra among others, but despite so many people taking the responsibility, the final script has not been delivered yet.

According to reports, the lead star Chiranjeevi and his son Ram Charan who is producing the film are not too happy with the final script that had been delivered and hence, the team is working on it again.

AR Rahman who had been roped for the film will be busy and Thaman had been kept as a backup option. So he might take over as the composer of the film. The movie is supposed to be in the league of biggies like Baahubali and is being made on a huge budget of Rs 180 crore.
