Tik Tik Tik starring Jayam Ravi is one of the most anticipated movies in India, because it is the first of its genre. Touted to be a science fiction thriller in space, the movie is speculated to release soon.
The teaser of Tik Tik Tik starring Jayam Ravi opened to rave response and had collected record breaking views and now, it seems like the team behind the movie is ready to release the trailer of the film.
Shakti Soundar Rajan, the director of the movie recently tweeted, “Jst finished the final cut of the #TikTikTikTrailer with @pradeeperagav!! Looking forward to share it!! @actor_jayamravi @JabaksMovies”
Well, that means that we can expect the trailer of Tik Tik Tik starring Jayam Ravi to be unveiled soon. We expect an official confirmation on the same. ‘Tik Tik Tik’ which is directed by Shakti Soundar Rajan and stars Jayam Ravi and Nivetha Pethuraj in the lead is hailed to be the first space film of India and comes way before the Sushant Singh Rajput starrer ‘Chanda Mama Door Ke’ for which he is training at NASA. The film which is currently under post-production is a high budget Tamil film and will bring Hollywood technology to India.
In an exclusive interview with Chennai Times, the director of ‘Tik Tik Tik’, Shakti Soundar Rajan tells all and expresses his love for experimentation with film genres. On being asked about his stand on the film being promoted as the first space thriller in India, the director said, “The film is definitely a never-done-before attempt in the country. In fact, I can even say that it will be one of the realistic space films ever made, among Asian movies. More than 200 technicians are working for almost eight hours daily on the film’s visual effects. Usually, for films being made in this genre and on such a big scale, we depend on experts from other countries or foreign studios. But we have neither gone abroad nor is there any supervisor from other countries to work on CG. In that way, this is a complete Indian film.”
He also opened up about his choice of lead actors he said that the actors were best known for their dedication and the film needed dedication more than anything. He said, “I share a good rapport with Ravi. He is someone who gives his 100 per cent. He has immense trust in me. Similarly, it was good to have Nivetha as she’s a Tamil-speaking actress. Moreover, she is a trained martial artist, which came in handy during the shooting.”
He also said that the film is well-researched and does not lack reality factor which is a case with most of the sci-fi films. He claimed that he had talked to ISRO employees and researched on data from NASA which made it more solid in the scientific context.
The teaser of the film gives us a glimpse into the space world which is not as easy as thought to be and throws challenges onto the astronauts. It is a visual treat to watch the teaser, and if the trailer is anything like the teaser then we can expect it to break many records.
