Hey, Pinoy Christian. Alam ko medyo busy utak natin ngayon. Puro politics ang laman ng feed natin. Puro debate about our candidates. Para sa akin, ok lang yan. Kasi we’re doing our part in the conversation for our nation. Tsaka hanggang May or June lang naman siguro.

Pero sana, pagkatapos ng mga ito, maalala natin na:

1. We don’t worship a politician. We worship the King of Kings and Lord of Lords. Jesus ang pangalan, hindi Leni, BBM, Ping, Manny o Isko.

2. These politician are not our savior. Medyo uncomfortable nga ako pag nakikita ko na may nagsasabing “Leni is our only hope…” or whoever politician that is… just insert the name. Kasi ang totoo, they will only lead us, and hopefully will lead well. They provide hope in the sense that we’re hoping for a better Philippines through their leadership. But life in general? No, they’re not our hope. Alam mo naman siguro, kung sino lang ang tunay na pag-asa natin…

3. This world is not our home, we’re just passing through. This election will probably give relief for a few years if we make the right choice. But in reality, because of sin in this world, we’re still going to suffer. Heaven in the presence of God is our real home. Let’s not lose focus on what is truly essential, and that is our relationship with God.

Again, go and participate in the discussions. Ayos yan. Gusto ko rin yan. It goes to show na ang Kristiano, hindi detatched sa reality ng buhay. Basta, tama lang ang perspective natin, ha?
