Honestly, let’s just organise Janelle Monáe’s schedule around award season now, because she’s going to be busy accepting every single award ever. I think the VMAs are in June? She’ll be there to give what will probably be the performance of the evening, and take Best Art Direction, Video of the Year, and presumably Best Fight Against The System (whatever that represents). We obviously give her the ARIA for Best International Artist, because after this song, who else deserves a chance? Obviously she’d need to fly out to Australia, to perform it for us. Then she goes to the Grammys, where she takes Record Of The Year and Song Of The Year, plus also Album Of The Year for whatever album this is on, Best Pop Solo Performance, Best Pop Vocal Album, Best R&B Performance, Best R&B Song, and also Best Music Video. After that, she can obviously do the Super Bowl Pepsi Halftime Show, where this will become the most iconic Super Bowl performance of all time. Then we can send her to the Brits, to win whichever awards they want to give her that she qualifies for, and a collab with Little Mix and Stormzy.

The video clip is just as amazing as the song.
