RECENT DEVELOPMENTS IN CLEAN ENERGY TECHNOLOGY AND THEIR IMPORTANCE

The advancement of the world instantly impacting our energy consumption rate. As we need more energy in day-to-day life, the source of the energy is playing a more significant role than ever before. Many of our traditional energy sources bring detrimental effects on the Earth. Moreover, as we used to depend on fossil fuels and other limited resources, opting for clean energy sources is a prudent decision.
Clean energy refers to the energy that comes from renewable sources and does not pollute the environment when used. Clean energy is the energy for the future. Global warming is an alarming issue nowadays. From increasing sea level to regular natural calamities, such as storms, heatwaves, floods, and droughts, due to global warming, the Earth is going through a crucial time. One of the reasons behind global warming is our energy habits. So, for sustainable development, we are heading towards clean energy sources.
Recently the focus on developing clean energy technology has reached a new height. Many countries, corporations, and organizations are actively working for a clean energy revolution. Some significant clean energy technology is discussed below.
Solar Energy
Solar energy is one of the main sources of clean energy. Solar energy refers to light and heat received from the Sun. So, this one is a renewable source and we see a lot of solar energy-centered technology.
Floating solar farms
Photovoltaic solar power systems are placed on a water body as they offer better efficiency in such placement. Without using land, we can produce a huge amount of electricity from such farms. They are cost-efficient and helps to reduce water treatment as well as the energy minimizes energy waste.
BIPV Solar Technology:
Building-integrated photovoltaics is a new trend in clean energy tech. It is not necessary to compromise the design anymore. BIPV offers an appealing feature, that is it is cost-efficient and helps to save on electricity cost. Also helps to cut down on the additional cost of solar panel mounting systems.
Photovoltaic solar noise barriers (PVNB)
Highway traffic noise has reached a dangerous level in recent years. Traffic noise barriers work for this problem.
Energy Blockchain
Blockchain at first came for cryptocurrency, but day by day their use has breaking barriers and unveiling new horizons continuously. It acts as an ideal way for eliminating the middlemen of electricity suppliers.
Clean transportation
In the last few years, clean transportation has become a new trend. Tesla came with their electric cars and people adapting quickly to this new technology as they are good for the environment and ensures the betterment of our Earth. Governments are being more eager to work with such clean energy technologies.
Clean energy has a vital effect on future development. To ensure a better tomorrow there is no other way than to opt for clean energy. So, it is a necessity now to focus more on clean energy technologies.
