Breaking down the difference between effective and efficient

Today, we will look at the difference between two adjectives- effective and efficient. Most of us have come to use these adjective interchangeably. However, there is a clear difference between the two, and I will break down the difference between the two below.
Effective is used to describe something (yes, things only) that gives us the results we want:
Revising is an effective method of learning new words (it gives you the results you want)
Aspirin is a simple yet highly effective treatment. (aspirin gives us the result we want- it relieves us from our pain)
Some people believe that violence is an effective way of protesting. (violence gives us the result we want to protest successfully)
Efficient, on the other hand, is used to describe something or someone (yes, we can describe someone efficient) that works in a quick and organized way, producing the least waste- money, time or energy
Let us take a look at examples;
The new system offers an efficient way of disposing of solid waste (the new system helps dispose of solid waste in a way that saves time, money & energy)
Tom has got such an efficient secretary! (the secretary does her job in a short amount of time)
There is a store that offers quick and efficient service! (the service offered by the store is quick, and causes the little waste of time & energy or whatever it might be)
Fuel-efficient cars have gained traction in the last 5 years (these cars do not use much fuel)
That is all I have for you guys today! I can’t wait to have you back when I upload more ish - this is euphemism for ‘shit’! (Excuse my French!)
Well, that is not the end apparently, cause we badly need to know what ‘excuse my French’ means! Well, I am gonna explain it below! You wish! I am not! I suggest you go thru this link here to find out what it means for yourself!
