ETHDenver has started, the bounties have been announced, and the team couldn't be more excited! For this 2022 edition of ETHDenver, iExec is offering $15,000 in RLC rewards for developers who complete our bounties during the course of the event:

  • Online bounty: Exotic Predictions Markets
  • In person bounty: iExec Oracle Factory & Scorechain Analytics

Watch Nelly Cornejo, Head of Adoption at iExec, introduce these bounties: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9nGJFn29L2U

To get these two bounties, you have to use the iExec Oracle Factory, the developer interface to create oracles in minutes. It couldn’t be more simple! Follow the docs, create your oracle and integrate it into one of the applications described in our bounty guidelines

A guide to using the iExec Oracle Factory:

Bounty #1 (online): Exotic Predictions Markets

  • From February,11th to March, 24th
  • Submission and judging between March 21–24

💰 Prize amount: $7,500 USD paid in RLC

🔍 Description:

Today, the predictive market is limited by the amount of data we can leverage. Most ecosystem players offer a restricted number of data providers. We believe that the iExec Oracle Factory provides a quick and simple way of getting external data into a smart contract. With a few clicks and URL copy/paste, users can configure the source data of an oracle from any API available on the web. This is highly relevant for Dapps that require specific data. The access to such particular off-chain data unlocks the possibilities of creating new prediction markets that go beyond an asset’s price change or the result of a football match.

This bounty consists of creating a Dapp to allow users to easily create a prediction market where the results are verified on oracles created through the iExec Oracle factory. Some examples of markets are: Ethereum standard gas price, BTC market cap percentage, train & plane delays, interest rate percentage forecasts.

📌 Expected deliverable:

  1. An escrow smart contract that can hold collateral from participants and spend the reward among the winners.
  2. A Dapp (UX/UI) connected to Oracle Factory showing two different use cases for a custom predictive market.
  3. A new feature for the Dapp: the possibility to add a custom predictive market.

Note: the suggested reward mechanism would be split among winners but any other innovative mechanism will be highly valued.

Bounty #2 (in person): iExec Oracle Factory & Scorechain Analytics

  • From February, 11th to February, 20th
  • Starting at 9:30 am for judging on February, 20th

💰 Prize Amount: $7,500 USD paid in RLC

🔍 Description:

This bounty requires you to build two applications:

  1. Create a Dapp using the iExec Oracle Factory and Scorechain’s API to monitor suspicious transactions within the iExec explorer.
  2. Create a wallet compliant DeFi application using Scorechain’s know-your-transaction (KYT) score.

https://ethereum.scorechain.com/api_doc/

📌 Expected deliverable:

  1. A wallet-compliant DeFi application.

A DeFi application that only accepts transfers from a wallet where funds have been validated based on the Scorechain’s score.

Following the logic: deposit + validate + spend

2. An application to monitor the transaction score on the iExec’s explorer.

An application that uses the Oracle Factory to obtain the trust score from the Scorechain of the last transaction that interacted with iExec’s Viviani sidechain.

The transactions are visible on https://blockscout-viviani.iex.ec/

<30 is considered a bad score

30–70 is a medium score

>70 is a good score
