iExec launches a program distributing monthly RLC token rewards to individuals who contribute to community growth. Distributed monthly, rewards are based on specific prize categories. In the future, iExec is planning to onboard long-term iExec Community Ambassadors to advocate for the project.

At iExec, we strongly believe we have one of the most creative communities in crypto. iExec is proud to announce the first steps towards an ongoing Community Rewards Program.

This program will recognize and reward the most active and engaged community members for their contributions towards community growth. Areas range from content creation to tech expertise. As a reward, RLC (and bragging rights!) will be distributed on a monthly basis.

  • 👨‍💻📢 Note: Are you a developer? You might be interested in the iExec Developer Program, where we’re offering generous Rewards and Grants for anyone that builds with the iExec protocol:

How Does the Community Rewards Program Work?

Each month, the iExec team will be monitoring the community for content. At the end of the month, we’ll select the best contributors. Our criteria is a program that weighs originality, usefulness, engagement quality, frequency, and community recognition. After we’re done running an analysis in our TEE enclave (just kidding) 😉 — we’ll announce the winners for each category.

How Can I Earn Rewards?

You don’t necessarily need to be a tech savant to be eligible to be get rewarded. There are multiple ways that the community can contribute and earn rewards. Here are some ideas to get you started: start a viral social media trend, grow your iExec-focused Twitter account to thousands of followers, share your hot take on recent iExec news, publish an iExec tutorial, get creative with some memes (the danker, the better), provide tech support to a fellow user in need, contribute your feedback on an iExec product, write up a futuristic use case of Medium, organize a digital oiler meet up, accurately translate iExec material to another language, etc. If you’re active in the iExec community, you have a good chance of being rewarded.

TL;DR — contribute something, brag about it, and there’s a chance you’ll be rewarded for your efforts.

The Future of iExec Community Rewards Program (and Community Ambassadors)

The monthly Community Rewards program will begin with 3 categories, but the great thing about the crypto space is that it is permissionless. You might come up with an entirely new category of awesome that we haven’t thought about. We’d also like to expand this into regional communities in the APAC regions. As we develop the program, we’re open to making changes based on participation and community feedback as well as the voting tool within the iExec Portal. After all, this program is for you!

iExec Community Ambassadors

In the coming months, the team is also looking to recognize iExec Community Ambassadors, to be assigned a position over the months. iExec aims to give selected community members the tools to promote awareness of the project, educate a wider audience, and drive the adoption of RLC. Community Ambassadors will be able to form closer relationships with iExec, while the team gets the opportunity to learn more about its community. iExec is looking to announce more details on how this will work following the iExec Portal release.

Got any questions? Don’t hesitate to post them in the iExec Discord.
