Devcon 2 in Shanghai was an important moment for iExec. Gilles Fedak presented the project for the first time ever, and we received a warm welcoming from the community. This time, Devcon 3 will be in Cancun, Mexico, and the iExec team is ready and excited to be part of it.

The Devcon is the annual conference of Ethereum developers, including all contributors of Ethereum itself, but also infrastructure projects around it and dapps built on top of it. It’s a great opportunity to meet in person, learn from each other and get priceless advice on building the most innovative software.

The first version of the iExec SDK has been released and we can’t wait to demo it to you in real life. A short and fun tutorial is now available on Katacoda, and you may also watch this video that goes through it, or simply check our Github. This release constitutes an essential milestone for all Ethereum developers. You can now launch off-chain computation tasks, which allows to port any kinds of legacy applications to Ethereum!

That’s also why we’re happy to sponsor the Devcon3. We’ll have a booth during the conference and we invite you to pass by, get in touch with the team, enjoy the demo, and ask us questions. Six members of the team will be there. We’re all passionate about Dapp design so don’t be shy and let’s get to know each other!

Don’t hesitate to send a message to Gilles, Haiwu, Oleg, François, Victor or Julien in advance. Last but not least, Gilles Fedak will give a keynote speech during the conference, the perfect opportunity to update everyone on the latest developments. Check out the full agenda of the conference.

See you in Cancun!
