My academic field Big Humanity: Dividing the curriculum into three parts.

1. yourself and your own development,

2. your studies about human,

3. and the scientific laws, finding them and translating them into daily life.

“Finding the function of everything in daily (human) life. “

This is a field, I made, using big history, thresholds about life, and humans, with the goal to find absolutes in life.

Focus on yourself

Focus on yourself, helps you become a better person, student, and a better worker in your job. Living and working from truly the best you can be, finding the best study questions you could find, and finding the best jobs fitting you, able to do the best work as a human, but this has more aspects you need to place in the right way in the total story.

Doing Social-Emotional Learning(SEL), helps you to be self-aware, have empathy, do emotion management, solve conflicts, be responsible, and have perseverance ( Extension Center for Youth Development Training and Events, 2016).

After SEL, you will do a course better, also one will teach the course better doing SEL first, themselves (Liston, N.D.).

Making decisions, for quality, you need one decision maker, for solutions, you need a team with 5–12 different professions solving the problem (DeRue, et al, N.D.).

Humans are by Human rights law, competent, thus make their own decisions (Ruggiero, et al. (N.D.).

Focus on the self is good for well-being and development, focus on others can make happy.

The focus on the self, to have self-awareness, is associated with positive psychological well-being, reflective self-development, acceptance, and proactivity have a positive outcome, costs, the only one negative outcome found in the study of Sutton, (2016).

The focus on others can make you happy (Nelson et al., 2016) but does it give the best outcomes in results in the things we do?

Best outcomes in life, and at work.

Self-study has the best outcomes, besides working in teams, which is even better but only in a specific way. Each in the team learning a part of the task, seeing everyone doing their own different part of the total task, for example making a car together, each does a part of the car, then, tested in another team with total strangers, and on another part of the task. Else, working in teams is the worst outcome, normal teams have no good outcome (DeRue, et al, N.D.).

Well-being is being authentic and autonomous ( Santos, N.D.).

A community is for everyone something different, but we all use the community when we need help. We all decide what a community is, we are all a part of the total community, so this will have no right or wrong unless one decides for the other what it has to be. Health outcomes do depend on how we use the community.

“The outcomes are determined on the level where prevention and intervention take place” (Hachmer, 2020).

In the psychology of popularity, studies found children are born likable, we love babies and children, and when adult one should be likable too, again. This can be especially hard when one was popular in their teen years. Teens who were popular have the worst outcome in adulthood, as popularity only counts in teen years, as a child and adult being likable counts to survive best. One should have not too many friends to survive, they rather have just one or a few to have the best outcome in life, especially as a teen (Prinstein, N.D.).

Happiness is not just feeling positive.

Being happy might not be enough, as it makes us feel good, but are we actually in a good life and situation, or just happy? For example, when a teen feels happy being popular, in the adult life they have the worst outcomes because they were popular as a teen, happiness now has a different meaning. Would it matter more to understand science, evidence-based arguments, and making informed decisions, than having “happiness”?

Our future depends on understanding science, evidence-based arguments, and making informed decisions (Hachmer, 2020).

Survival depends on having a purpose (Hachmer, 2020). The best purpose might be the best survival.

“In her 2007 book The How of Happiness, positive psychology researcher Sonja Lyubomirsky elaborates, describing happiness as “the experience of joy, contentment, or positive well-being, combined with a sense that one’s life is good, meaningful, and worthwhile.” (Greater Good Berkeley, 2020).

Research on mood changes during development in babies, children, and adults is important.

Because “the experience” is important to be happy, and a good environment and happiness are important for well-being, research on children and their development is important, I think. Especially how the brain, motor skills, and capability develops related to happiness, and well-being. What precisely do and need children to be happy and have well-being?

The research of the wonderful week helps understand more of what children really do and what the effect is on their development and brain growth, also, how their development affects mood.

The mood will change when a child is learning new things, which can make children having a bad mood, which can make them look unhappy. When the development continues and the child finds the new tasks and games easier the brain grows and the child is happy (Hachmer, 2020).

So, what do we seek in happiness? When we grow we can have a very hard time and a bad mood. A growth mindset helps us to have success in learning new things (Dweck, 2013; Keef, 2018), also doing harder tasks makes our IQ grow.

How happy we are in our relationship does influence our health.

““The surprising finding is that our relationships and how happy we are in our relationships has a powerful influence on our health,” said Robert Waldinger, director of the study, a psychiatrist at Massachusetts General Hospital and a professor of psychiatry at Harvard Medical School. “Taking care of your body is important, but tending to your relationships is a form of self-care too. That, I think, is the revelation.””(Mineo, 2017)

“Emotional responsiveness” is what makes a good relationship.

“That responsiveness, in a nutshell, is all about sending a cue and having the other person respond to it. “The $99 million question in love is, ‘Are you there for me?’” says Johnson. “It’s not just, ‘Are you my friend and will you help me with the chores?’ It’s about emotional synchronicity and being tuned in.””

“The science of love and relationships boils down to fundamental lessons that are simultaneously simple, obvious, and difficult to master: empathy, positivity and a strong emotional connection drive the happiest and healthiest relationships.”(Treleaven, 2020, p2.)

4 things that can break the marriage, and 5:1 Golden rule.

4 things can break the marriage in the first stage.

  • Criticism
  • Contempt
  • Defensiveness
  • Stonewalling

Lasting relationships have a golden rule 5:1 ratio, of 5 good things vs 1 bad thing, 100:1, 1000:1 or more is even better (Ana Psychology, 2020)

Conclusion about the focus on the self during Big Humanity studies.

Focus on self is good for well-being and development, also for life, study, and work outcomes. Focus on others can make you happy. 5:1 ratio (5 good things: 1 bad thing), is the ratio for good relationships. Both, focus on self and others, have an effect. The way we view community is personal, when we need, all people do use the community, but the outcomes of health are determined on the level where prevention and intervention take place. Relationships are about emotional responsiveness. Being likable is important, more than being popular. Relationships can be about needs when we have them, then we use the community. When we seek relationships emotional responsiveness is most important. Being likable is important in general. SEL is a way to combine all these things, self- awareness, self-development, into a lesson, and is a personal development and academic skills, which makes working with other people easier, and helps get better outcomes in studies and work. We need self-study, self-development, self-reflection, to function best, relationships are very specific in how and when they are beneficial. Rather one good friend, than many friends to have just many friends, but we do need the community when we have a need, so that can mean, we do have the need for relationships, sometimes, and on different levels, and moments, quality is important. Making best decisions, quality decisions is also done by one leader, solving we do with more people, but not many, 5–12 different experts, different professions give the best solutions. Thus everything depends on how well we develop ourselves, how much we need, and if we find quality in relationships. The human is unique, being authentic and autonomous is having well-being. So, there is the same outcome in all research, and we need to place all parts together. Everything seems to have its place, in development, well-being, and quality of life. Focus on self helps during the studies of Big Humanity, to have better outcomes in the study, and will make the study easier. This might also help with solving situations in personal life better, as we gain pro-activity, empathy, insights, which makes us make better quality decisions.

F=M*A, and velocity.

Input has an effect on the human, we change because of the input we get. Good input creates good output. Bad input creates bad output. No input is neglect and causes “no development”.

With input, if people prefer to process the input, and if it is not too bad that we can not skip it, to create us into something “bad output”, we change people.

We need to create a new measurement for thoughts with this scientific law that explains movement for things, how force changes things their position.

Thoughts have mass, but it is so little, we never yet, were using this scientific law on it. The thoughts moving things are studied, but not commonly known with this scientific law, although that is the correct law, as thoughts have mass, and if it causes movement this law is about it. Thoughts are a movement, but more detailed, and from that process.

Before we see the physical movement we need to study the next stages in movement, to understand, the movement to a thought, the thought itself, including having very little mass, then creating a movement, with thoughts and the physical body.

You will then see much different input, causing “movement” in thought, each with their own pace, into the next “sum” of the person's life, which creates an outcome.

Like, many inputs, with many reactions, each person coming to the movement in different moments, then all get a reaction inside because of the input, and each has their own personal reaction, because of their own personal sum in life, thus also a unique output.

But you can see the entire movement from the first move, in Big History, creating everything, and everything to move, then all pieces start at a specific point, but all come from the same start, this is the evolution in all things.

Then we see changes, as in the universe everything always changes (Christian, and Baker, N.D.), these changes are a movement, a movement with changes, and these different movements one day come into your life. Also, more and more movements are created, as everything evolves, and we have more and more in the universe over time. The universe is expanding. So, in human life comes to these current changes, from the current situation. Before this moment there was less input, after this moment there is more input, for the next evolution humans will have.

Big Humanity focuses on:

  • yourself and your own development,
  • your studies about human
  • and the scientific laws, also, finding more scientific laws and translate the findings to daily life.

To create absolutes only, and a true world, which leads to peace and the best environment to live in.

This is a broad study with the basic Big History and all the sciences coming together, to find absolutes, that will be translated into our daily life.

Where the basic study is translating scientific laws to daily life, so we know the absolutes, and live the best lives, in the best environments. Where the study, therefore, studies also first on your own development, your own study questions, and scientific laws. Where you develop scientifically as a human, and find the science in nature, and nature in science, and understand what science means, finding the best ways to continue thinking and studies, and the best ways to find absolute truth.

The focus on absolute truth creates bigger freedom, only absolutes rule the people, never skipping human rights, ethics, sciences, SEL, and academic skills. People get better well-being, being their authentic self and autonomous, able to be the best they can be, in the best environment they can get.

This makes at the same time, the academic skills and science one of the first things, too to learn and study. Same as ethics, human rights, and SEL. This is basic.

So, the first thing is self-development, self-study, studying the self and own development, your own questions, preferences, will, and best study questions, which leads eventually to your own job and own best-developed self in that job, finding the absolutes in life, and able to translate them to daily life.

At the same time you study:

  • science,
  • ethics,
  • human rights,
  • academic skills,
  • and SEL,

as a basic study.

Then any study you want to study, on human life, and humanity, in the study of big history, to be complete and to use all sciences.

After that, you create your own study and your own job, in big humanity, where the goal is simply finding absolutes, scientific laws and translate them to daily life. So, one lives the absolute best life.

Examples.

For example, the study can be software development for all laws humans made, where one studies on the absolutes, and how true the laws are, are they allowed? Fitting the absolutes? Didn’t they lose power by losing sovereignty, violating human rights, or other more important laws? Are they truly needed and true in science, to create the best? Using all absolutes to create a better system in the justice jobs and governments, where people only use absolutes as the truth, and can easily find the difference between an absolute and all freedom for human.

Another example, and coming from this science-based governing with software with truth, finding the correct “punishment” for people that are criminal, including solving all that can cause crimes, DSM, and faults, so no one is criminal anymore, and everything is directed in the correct routes so everyone develops themselves in the best ways, and live truly the absolute best lives. Creating the absolute best environment for humans.

In general, we need no force, no power, no dark triads in jobs, and no faults in jobs, creating the best services for humans. So, you can manage, teach, govern, people in the best way, without too many systems, you just need the absolutes.

You can also, study any other social science, or life sciences, or anything else fitting human development, where you want to do the absolute best. Creating the best study majors, of all study majors, using social study majors and the highest majors, life sciences, to create absolute truth in all sciences, and jobs.

This also leads to peace. So, you can simply study the absolutes, to find absolute peace for humans. Or to find total health, body, mind, and soul, with only absolutes, placing all research compared to how absolutely true this is, and thus how much the human should have their own choices in health, and when to follow an absolute.

First, big humanity studies on,

  • Baby and human development. All about development, as humans and in the developing universe and life. Where you focus on your own development, to compare with the baby and human development. Finding absolute truth, own decisions, and own development preferences. Finding the truth about when to follow an absolute truth, and when to follow a personal preference, creating an authentic, autonomous life.
  • Your own studies about input. What controlled you? What was the input you got? How true was this? What was the effect? What should it be?
  • Creating study questions. Creating the best questions we can make, so we can find the best answers in life.

And,

  • science,
  • ethics,
  • human rights,
  • academic skills,
  • and SEL.

This is the basic, and the study will also be like Big History studies on human life, only more detailed on the scientific laws, that will be translated into daily life.

Thus also: Studying who you are within the big history, and who you are within the universe, life, and personal life as a human in the thresholds of life, human life, and modern human life.

You need to understand you first, to study with the best questions you can come up with. This is like SEL, social-emotional learning, and academic skills.

“Chicken and egg”

Because it is a study, you also, first, learn the scientific method, and all sciences, to use on yourself, to study your personal life with all sciences.

Ethics and human rights always come first, before anything, and is like the chicken taking care of the eggs, you are now the grown chicken and the egg.

You come from an egg, and you remain also “an egg”, the human consciousness is a guessing human within the self, where the senses are in between the input from the outside world and the brain, and thus there is no absolute consciousness like a God, you are human, within yourself guessing about what you experience through the senses, thus you guess about everything in the outside world.

So, you are and the chicken, a grown egg, but also have to understand what the raising meant and what the other chickens have done to you like an egg, and thus how this influenced you from egg to chicken, now nurturing other eggs like a chicken, with empathy with all eggs becoming chickens, which are in the same cycle of life, like you, all growing eggs, into chickens, coming from chickens, and now able to see what that life as an egg is like, and what life as a chicken is like, also, how to study from this bigger point of view on all parts, and how to create the best environment for other eggs, and chickens.

But you do that from the human point of view.

Where you need the smartest ideas to survive. Where you are homo sapiens, with homo sapiens features.

Second,

  • Translating the scientific laws into daily life,
  • Finding the true nature of humans, and human life,
  • Finding the absolutes, in how we develop best, what best options are as humans, in this big history, coming from evolution and the big bang, and the universe, now into modern life, going into a future, where our lives depend on how well we do science and find the right questions to answer and research.

Thirdly,

All you want to do in life and want to study and work with. All, your preferences, priorities, ideas, feelings, will lead you to. But with the goal of finding absolutes in life, and translating this into daily life. Changing life, work, into an absolute truth.

If people all are their best, they get their own best output.

  • Themselves
  • Study the best input, focused on absolutes and absolute truth, and thus develop themselves, developing themselves on higher levels.
  • In the best environment with the best processing.

All are best who they can be, with their own best outcomes. Which leads to finding the best answers to the best questions, one can make, and thus also more absolutes in life, and thus in daily life, this also creates peace in life, and absolute true life.

We do that with the homo sapiens features, thus we express ourselves with art, speech, and sharing, while we handle more of the same kind, and develop into having more empathy. Also, we use the collective knowledge, we collected together as humans, and we each, add to this collective knowledge. This helps us survive as a species.

Continue studies.

The field is new, although Big History is not that new anymore. So, we will gain studies, and outcomes, and will develop the field.

You can continue the studies from many sciences, and studies, the way you like. It is just about finding scientific laws we translate into daily life, and we do use Big History, that way we also study everything, we mean to find a complete idea about life, and how everything influences us, and specifically what scientific laws, in all the moments we live.
