Teehan+Lax sells out to Facebook and closes company — a HUGE blow for our digital industry. The Toronto based agency has been one of my all time favorites, when it comes to designing, conceptualizing and implementing digital projects. Their processes have been a goldmine to me and a great inspiration. You will be missed.
Recruiters, get ready to recruit.
But now the partners have agreed to join the Facebook Design Team and left approx. 40 talented employees at the office. If I was anywhere near that location, I would seriously consider hiring some of them. I’m sure they have some great talents, even though we also know, that Teehan+Lax will never be the same without… Teehan+Lax. Just like Apple won’t ever be the same without Jobs. Oh well — I’m sure they have their (personal) reasons, but I personally hate to see this inspiring company vanish.
