I am going for community. I am going to sing, I am going to stand up, I am going to cry. I am going to push.

I am going because I am an educator, because I believe in radical amazement. I am going because I am small.I am going because I will be one of a thousand Jews rejoicing and resisting. If I am not for myself, who will be for me?

I am schlepping all the way from Chicago to DC to bring the #JewishResistance to AIPAC because I will not be silent. I will not sleep through the daily nightmare that is this occupation. I will not let the out-of-touch establishment believe they commit this moral disaster for me.

That’s me on the left, building this world from love.

I am going to build our world from love. I am going for tzimtzum, the contraction of our people, so many in this one place. I am going for tikkun, the healing of our world.I am going because tzedek, justice, we shall pursue.

I am schlepping all the way from Chicago to DC to bring the #JewishResistance to AIPAC because my sister will be there, my sisters will be there, my family will be there. Those who claim to speak for us will see our faces and hear our songs, and they will have to ask themselves: Are they on the side of our people, of justice?

I am going because our people show up — we fight. I am going because Jews marched in Selma and in Ferguson. I am going for Palestine, I am going for you. I am going because if I am only for myself, who am I?

I am schlepping all the way from Chicago to DC to bring the #JewishResistance to AIPAC because dayenu, this is enough. They do not speak for us — we speak for us. When else do we show up and let our voices ring but now, right now?

See you there.
