Success and it’s elements!

As we all fold the page on an academic year, For some of us this might have been the most important year of our lives. As we end school and prepare our brains for the next phase, we indulge our thoughts in the prize that everyone dreams of, what some would call ‘The Pinnacle of Civilisation’. Our minds drift off thinking of Success, and at that instant we tremble, panic and curl into the corner, as the shadow of the obstacles that will stand in our path appears across the horizon. Today, I’ll try to help us all by identifying the critical elements behind success. I am not claiming that I hold the key, but maybe together we can sniff out the truth behind it.

Confidence | Fear | Ambition, I believe are the main ingredients of success!

To start with:

Confidence is the belief in your abilities, your capabilities, your attitude and your Opinion, Freedom of inner-doubt and conflict. It is known as the memory of success and the key to the city of achievements. The positive feeling of one’s ability to accomplish any certain or general activities in life, a belief that one’s self and capabilities are equal to most any task.

That might sound a little complicated and threatening. My Mother always tells me: “Nobody is perfect, you’re better than nobody, but nobody is better than you” And that is precisely the root of confidence, the belief that you can achieve anything, the way anybody else can. No matter the odds, you can do what you want, because you believe you can.

Confidence is the difference between feeling unstoppable and feeling scared out. Your perception of yourself has an enormous impact on how others see or judge you. Consequently, the more self-confidence you have, the more likely it is you’ll succeed. Self-confidence is extremely important in almost every aspect of our lives, yet so many people struggle to find. Unfortunately, this can be a vicious circle: People who lack self- confidence can find it Impossible to become successful.

Its okay to fail but it shouldn’t be the norm.

The path to success has several bus stops titled failure. It isn’t a philosophy, it’s how life works, you learn a lesson which brings you stronger and better. The difference between school and real life, is that school teaches you the lesson then tests you. While further in real life you will rattle and struggle with the ordeal, until the lesson in ingrained into your conscious.

Everybody falls, only those confident pick themselves up. A knight in shining armour is one that has never had his metal tested. For that exact reason, Do what’s uncomfortable, scary and hard but pays off in the long run. Fail in the way and place where you would be proud to fail. Fail and pick yourself up and fail again. Without that struggle, what is your success anyway?

The person who you’re with most in life is yourself and if you don’t like yourself you’re always with somebody you don’t like. Happiness is a significant factor of confidence, because in order to be confident in what you do, you have to be happy with who you are.

If you don’t believe in yourself who do you expect to? You are who you believe you are, and I bet it’s time for your actions to live up to the expectations. Silence insecurity and failed critics, only the opinion of those you truly love and trust matters.

The Second Element of Success is Fear.

As contradicting as it might sound, fear is essential to every Human being, the greatest warrior has fear, and the Batman has fear. But what is most important is your outlook to fear. Fear is the greatest enemy, Fear is the opposite of love… Fear is what blinds us. Fear is corrosive. Fear makes us hold back. It whispers to us, tells us that we’ll fail. It tells us that our differences are too much to overcome. Fear locks us in place. It starts fights. It causes wars. And fear keeps us from loving, but why spend your life fighting an invisible enemy, when you can just ignite your enemy into the fuel that propels you forward. Embrace your fear of failure, and turn it into the fire of passion. Let your fear of failure guide you to success, and your confidence be the backup plan when you fall. Let Fear and Failure go hand in hand positively.

Success isn’t money or fame or happiness. Success is defeating the fear inside you, building yourself up as a person and forming a mature individual from a mouldable child.

Now for the last element Ambition.

Your dreams and passion are what pushes you forward, and if you don’t have any, well it is never too late to get started.

Dream big, there is no limit, how do you think the greatest people in history became who they are, we were all born in the same gutter, they chose to look at the stars. Moreover, if you ever feel insignificant or weak, think how much pain can one mosquito give you. So no matter how small you are, remember your armour of confidence, and wield the flaming sword of ambition.

Follow your passion, find what you love and what will contribute to humanity, and then find out how to get paid for it, and never give up, don’t knock on the door of opportunities, BASH IT DOWN. Actually no, if opportunity was a train you should be selling the tickets. Even when you get on the right path, never stop advancing, even if you are on the right track, you will get run over if you just sit there. The road to success is dotted with many tempting parking places. The only place where success comes before work is in the dictionary. Never stop working, and foremost never stop dreaming.
