Iggy’s CSV upload tool
With Iggy, developers with no prior training in geospatial or geography can build better experiences, apps, and models with location data. Our initial API endpoints are primarily focused on context — Iggy makes it very easy to know what’s around a given location — from bakeries and banks to police stations and power plants. Appropriately, we’ve seen a lot of interest in our APIs from folks who work in real estate, where location matters a great deal. They are using Iggy in a variety of different ways:
- improving their pricing models by integrating location context,
- smarter scoring of leads for their portfolio by dropping or down-ranking prospects near noisy things like highways or gas stations,
- choosing an office location for employees that’s nearby popular amenities,
- giving agents more relevant and accurate neighborhood information to share w/ home buyers… and much more!
Iggy makes doing all of these things easy at scale. But until today, accessing that valuable contextual information was only possible via direct calls to our various API endpoints.
Today we are releasing a .csv upload tool so that a wider range of developers can access Iggy. Just upload a .csv with latitude and longitude columns, choose from a bundle of contextual options like leisure, errands, noise, and we’ll let you know what’s within a mile (and how far away it is). No code necessary!
