Pre-Accelerator Teams 2019: Meet myndr
Incredible founders Emma & Lizzy from myndr rocked the recent Ignite showcase. Whilst this is the end of the programme they are just getting started!
What is myndr?
More and more of us are turning to the NHS for guidance and help regarding our mental health and well-being, resulting in unacceptably long wait times and the barrier to access these services actually being raised. Ultimately this causes people to fall deeper into crisis, poor patient outcomes and higher costs for the NHS. The journey to recovery is lonely and the path to achieving our goals is often confusing; especially if you already struggle with poor self-esteem or confidence.
Myndr is a new community and platform that understands the barriers to action when it comes to our well being. Myndr harnesses the power of peer to peer mental health collaboration, offering tools and support to identify and break down goals in a clear and concise way. The platform uses hierarchy, an already proven therapy method in goal setting and then empowers the free flow of ideas and advice from peers to users, that can tailor the guidance to their own needs and desired outcome.
What was it like being a part of Ignite’s Pre-Accelerator?
This is what the team had to say when I asked them about their experience over the last 3 months: “Ignite blew me away. I’ve previously been on business accelerators and been apart of a great network of people but Ignite has to take the biscuit. The content was first class, always relevant and unbelievably helpful.”

Favourite moment of the Ignite journey
