The Ignite team + 2020 Propel Cohort

IgniteNI is a startup accelerator based in Belfast, that supports 30 technology companies through our programmes every year.

We are recruiting a maternity cover for our Operations Manager, starting this September, for a 12 month contract.

Job Description:

  • Full-Time
  • Based in Belfast, NI
  • £32,000 pa
  • 12 Month contract (starting September 2020)
  • Application Deadline 30th June 2020

The Operations manager works alongside the Programme Director and the rest of the IgniteNI team to plan and deliver the Propel and Accelerator programme, support the alumni companies, and keep on top of our programme delivery systems and record keeping.

We’re a small informal team, but we do a lot, which means we have to be very organised! This role is for someone who can keep an eye on detail when many plates are spinning; can take the initiative to begin and lead tasks; and is confident to ask questions and request information from the team and founders in busy moments.

The role is based out of the Ormeau Baths in Belfast, although given the current situation we’re currently working remotely. It’s entirely possible that this may still be the case for at least part of the maternity cover, so you’d need to be comfortable working as part of a remote team.

You can read more about the role below, and if you’d like to apply then you can do so here: Operations Manager Application, or if you’ve got any questions then please get in touch with me at tristan@ignite.io.

  • Organising room bookings
  • Logistics of programme travel outside of NI
  • Event management for programme showcases and launch events
  • Maintaining database of founder resources (templates, decks, session recordings)

Marketing

  • Organise content marketing schedule and liaise with content producers
  • Liaising with external PR agency around programme marketing

Data keeping

  • Recording and updating directory of pipeline, programme founders, mentors and alumni
  • Budget tracking and forecasting
